Panera Westown Hosts #CIBa – Artists on the Rise (with Social Media) – 3rd Tuesday

Just as for Central Iowa business bloggers (#CIB) have benefited from gathering around each other monthly (1st Fridays)  to brainstorm and share ideas for how they use Social Media to augment their work, a different group has begun to gather – at a different Panera.

Panera on Westown Pkwy in West Des Moines (map) has begun hosting a 3rd Tuesday (6pm). Central Iowa Bloggers – Artists on the Rise (or #CIBa) enters its third month, and it's begun in similar fashion as the biz bloggers had several years ago.

Many "artists" are looking to turn their passion into a profession, while some are seeking ways for Social Media to gain recognition — or at least to turn their hobby into a non-loss center (Social Media earning enough to pay for supplies).
