Highlight Midwest: Build a Global Voice to Reach a Local Audience

I'll be among a cavalcade of techpreneurs presenting at Highlight Midwest this Friday at Des Moines Social Club. The borders of Iowa won't keep our voices within -- after all, our borders are water not walls:

Speak to the Back of the Church: Build a Global Voice to Reach a Local Audience

Focusing on your target geographical audience is important in building your business, but ignoring the global audience can be perilous to our findability. This session examines why your global voice is important, why it's easier to go global than local, and how to do so.

Lots of speakers with a short time liimit to speak (45-minutes includes setup and breakdown). I'll be "flipping" mine and hope to get a good Ustream out of it.  I've found one "trailer" and I hope I don't go up against this one from ShowIgniter

A full (almost) roster of presenters  can be found on the HMDM site. You can also follow on Twitter with the Hashtag of #HMDM (already a bit of buzz around this event on Twitter).
