I've found Blog Blazers to be a gold mine of instruction. That's why I'm recommending it to my students in one-on-one and classroom settings. Stephane Grenier quizzed 40 fantastic blog authors on how to create a high-profile, high-traffic, and high-profit blog.
This week, I'm sharing some of my findings
One of my favorite parts of this book is seeing what these bloggers are reading (or at least suggesting to others).
What five blogs do your read regularly? (here are some of the more popular answers (and I recommend each of them as well):
- Problogger
- Seth Godin
- Joel Spolsky
- Seven Mile
- TechCrunch
- Fred Wilson
- Guy Kawasaki
- Steve Rubel
- Dumb Little Man
- Jeremiah Owyang
- Leo Babuta
- and about 140 others — several mentioned multiple times, but many just once.
Though there are more than five regular reads for me (and aside from my partner Angela Maiers), here are the five I spend the most time with:
Chris Brogan
Mack Collier
Garr Reynolds
Wesley Fryer
** Kathy Sierra hasn't updated Creating Passionate Users in almost two years. The posts are still relevant and inspiring. I subscribe to the feed and visit the site often.

Find Your Social Media ROI
I hear it from a lot of business owners: “Where is the ROI with all this Social Media?“ If this is a question you ask yourself, maybe we should work together a bit more. We can work together solo, or via a professional learning community. Find and increase your ROI. There is a “there” there.
