I’m Proud to Follow…Drew McLellan

Sometimes you just know. When I came to Des Moines in 2004, one of the first reading habits I fell into was reading Drew McLellan’s Marketing Minute in the Business Record. And when I began coaching business bloggers in 2005 – I targeted Drew as one I wanted as a student.

He was tough to corner – he is the epitome of busy – but when we connected, it was one of the best connections ever for me.

His conversational and coaching style of writing, his zeal to put others first, and possibly more than anything else — his learning mindset, allowed us to learn together. Soon (likkety-split?) the lines blurred at who was coach and who was student. Now, not so much.

Drew quickly realized that the conversational field of play online was level, but at the same time the level of on the conversational field was higher than he had previously reached. Now, he helps set the bar:

I am proud to follow Drew McLellan – and here’s how I do so:
Drew’s Blog
Drew’s RSS
Drew’s FriendFeed page (all he does online in one page)

P.S. Hey, Drew. I’m proud of you and honored to be your friend. I love you!

Find Your Social Media ROI

I hear it from a lot of business owners: “Where is the ROI with all this Social Media?“ If this is a question you ask yourself, maybe we should work together a bit more. We can work together solo, or via a professional learning community. Find and increase your ROI. There is a “there” there.
