January Blogtipping – Let’s Make Music

Blogtipping
Along with Running, one of my other new habits will be learning to play the piano this year. I’ve purchased the keyboard (a steal of a deal) and look forward to its arrival. Until then, I thought I’d brush up on some musical blogs…and I found some worth tipping:

  • Music Matters: Natalie!  I’m so gonna love this site. Tons of great resources and depth. Suggestion(s): A bio?
  • Para las seis cuerdas: Guitarist Montserrat Ardèvo offers thoughts, video and audio lessons. Also can be found at MontsGuitarSessions. Suggestion(s): Put that great smile found on the about page front and center.
  • Pianologist: A team effort with a learners mindset, I am really going to get into this one.  Great design, lots of updates, resourceful. Suggestion(s): Audio available?

I’m going to live in 2008 by dancing like no one is watching (though I’ve always done this), love like I’ll never be hurt (this too), sing like no one is listening (yep – this three) and play music like I’m deaf — until I get it down.

Let’s make some music!

Find Your Social Media ROI

I hear it from a lot of business owners: “Where is the ROI with all this Social Media?“ If this is a question you ask yourself, maybe we should work together a bit more. We can work together solo, or via a professional learning community. Find and increase your ROI. There is a “there” there.

It’s new year, so I guess it’s best to start the year with a change. I’m also a music lover and music really helps a lot to change my mood.

Mike…it’s always wonderful to hear that someone has decided to learn piano. I hope it is a successful endeavor for you. Are you learning on your own or do you have a teacher?
Appreciate the suggestion for my blog. I’ve actually just been thinking about including some more personal/bio info on the site and will definitely make a point to do so now. Feel free to send any other suggestions my way!
Also, feel free to contact me if you have any specific questions as you pursue learning to play the piano. I’ve taught a number of adult students over the years and really enjoy doing so.
    Thanks for the link!
