Some thoughts around the social media conversphere:
- Marketing is NOT Social Media, Social Media is NOT Marketing at Chris Brogan: Might clear some of the cloudy mess in our heads. "Marketing is a Discipline, Social Media are Tools." Of course, Markets Are Conversations…and the ‘train is on the move. Also, make sure to catch Chris’ Social Media Starter Pack.
- The Year in Blogs The Definitive (Marketing) Posts of 2007 at GrokDotCom: The title says it all. Grab a cup,, have a pencil handy, have a great read. A month-by-month listing of great marketing posts. Tip to David Meerman Scott for posting about this list.
- How to be a Total Reader Magnet at Coaching Wizardry: Joanna offers some rock-solid Do’s and Don’ts on how to attract readers.
- Web Metrics Demystified at Occam’s Razor: Avanish points out four attributes of great metrics, plus three great takeaways. This post deserves a KISS.
- Marketing: It’s Evolution Not Revolution at PR Squared: I should’ve read this earlier. The old-guard and professors of Marketing
History101 need to realize today’s toolbox is an asset, not anarchy.
