One of the great things about business blogging in Iowa is we have a community of conversation right from launch.
Everyone cheers each other on, becoming genuinely interested in how the new bloggers are doing – on their blog and in their business. It’s an online gathering of support and offers a foundation for the conversation.
On the First Friday of each month, these folks gather offline at the Central Iowa Bloggers gathering at Panera in West Des Moines (6740 University Ave) during the 8 o’clock hour (though some arrive earlier).
The informal gathering gives folks the opportunity to build business and blogging ideas. It’s fun to watch (and participate) in the idea-sharing and business-building that transpires.
We get anywhere from 20-30 people coming through and sharing a few minutes. If you’re in the neighborhood this Friday, we hope you’ll drop by (even if you’re not blogging yet).

Find Your Social Media ROI
I hear it from a lot of business owners: “Where is the ROI with all this Social Media?“ If this is a question you ask yourself, maybe we should work together a bit more. We can work together solo, or via a professional learning community. Find and increase your ROI. There is a “there” there.
