BlogWorld Expo: Important Stats

Blogworld
Found this list of numbers at BlogWorld Expo

See the top five numbers?  There’s little room to wiggle when wondering IF your business should blog.  If you think blogging is a fad – that 4th line is a signal that this stuff isn’t going away.

There are still discounts available for the BlogWorld & NewMedia Expo (Nov. 7-9), but not for long. The conference schedule is filled to the brim with blogging brilliance. If not for prior commitments, I’d be there with you.

Find Your Social Media ROI

I hear it from a lot of business owners: “Where is the ROI with all this Social Media?“ If this is a question you ask yourself, maybe we should work together a bit more. We can work together solo, or via a professional learning community. Find and increase your ROI. There is a “there” there.

It is also really cool that one of our own Central Iowa Bloggers, Brett Trout, is a speaker at the Blog World Expo. He is speaking on keeping your blog out of court.

Anyone else from Iowa attending the World’s Biggest Blog Convention? If you are, come hear me speak at BlogWorld Expo and/or find me in Vegas and let me know you are from Iowa. The first ten Iowans who do will get a signed copy of my just released CyberLaw book. See you there!

Thank you for the post and the link Mike. Sorry you won’t be able to join us.
Here is another stat for you. As of today registered BlogWorld attendees represent nearly 17 million readers, viewers and listeners.
We came to that number by using the lowest possible readership levels taken from the demographic question on our reg form “what is your monthly readership”. The numbers range below 5,000 per month to over 1 million readers per month.
    Blog on!

Amazing how the blogs took over the www! Those blog stats show it. Thanks for sharing. My pages of my regular sites (more than 3 years old) did not get Google ranked as fast and prominent as my 1-year old blog did and does. The steady fresh content of a blog + interaction from other bloggers make all the difference of the world. Pua
