AdAge Power 150 – Top Marketing Blogs

Todd Andrlik’s Power 150 has partnered with AdAge to create the AdAge Power 150.

Several things to note:

  • Todd created this list in January as a way to rank and file marketing blogs. An SVP (Speculative Volunteer Project).
  • In March, he received a boost from TechBrew so the process could be automated. Collaboration by two tireless and giving bloggers (I wonder if Mark and Todd have ever met?)
  • Advertising Age partners with Todd to create the AdAge Power 150
  • I wasn’t on the original list, though ConverStations is listed at #32. Not bad considering I’m just getting back into the swing. Apparently, we used to hold the #25 spot. Who knew?
  • Dig the Power 150 OPML file (you can Import the file into your feed reader and just-like-that…you’re subscribed to all the feeds)
  • I found out the AdAge list went live…because David Armano twittered it – and I lurk listen on Twitter via IM.

    Hi Mike,
No, Todd and I have never met. We were introduced via email by Marjolein Hoekstra. (I’ve never met her in real life either.) Funny the way the world works now, isn’t it?
    Congrats on the high-ranking spot!

I would love to share a new tool with your readers. BigString is a free email service that allows a user to easily send, recall, erase, self-destruct and modify an email after it has been sent. BigString users have unprecedented control over all of their email, whether they choose to send it through the website or even Microsoft Outlook.
It is inevitable. At one point or another in your life, you’ve sent an email to a colleague, client, family member or significant other that’s been highly regrettable. Even before pressing send, you knew it was a bad idea, yet you rolled the dice and clicked anyway, only to cringe at what you wrote later on.

    Adage Power 150

Well it used to be Todds, but as I wrote about recently, it now has a new home as the Adage Power150 and has also been officially announced today on Adage.
That is a lot of links for me in one paragraph, I already feel guilty of linking mistakes….

Thanks for the update on the Power 150 and congrats at number 25! Just curious, how many blogs do you read each day on average?
