Strauss vs. Sansone: Ain’t Gonna Be No Rematch

It was bound to happen. Good blogging pals. Co-converslationalists at SOBCon07 – A relationship bloggers event. Inevitable that Liz Strauss and I would go head-to-head at some point, right? Today is that day.

Daily Blog Tips’ recurring series, Bloggers Face-Off, has put us in separate corners of the blogosphere and in offers up the tale of the tape.

Faceoff_3

Check out the bottom line for each of us. It reads like a porch pitch, nay – a mantra for either site. There is a poll at the bottom, let’s see who wins (I’m betting on everybody:-))

Find Your Social Media ROI

I hear it from a lot of business owners: “Where is the ROI with all this Social Media?“ If this is a question you ask yourself, maybe we should work together a bit more. We can work together solo, or via a professional learning community. Find and increase your ROI. There is a “there” there.

Mike, that introduction you did was quite suitable!
Liz is winning right now, but she posted about the face-off earlier, I think your fans will make it a rough go now.
The competition is just a funny addition to the face-offs though, the real value are the answers and the insights my readers will get from it, thanks for participating.

    Hey Mike,
You couldn’t get more matched than what’s there. I really enjoyed reading. It brought me back to where things are — as you say . . . the bottom line. :)

Daniel is making things far too difficult.
I am not even going to admit whether I voted, let alone who I voted for.
Daniel can you add a spoilt ballot selection?

  • http://www.dailyblogtips.com Daniel

Andy, that could be an idea :) .
Also as Liz mentioned I really not sure what to do in the case the face-off ends with a tie…

Hmmm methinks I’ll have to have a glass of chardonnay whilst reading Open Mic before i cast my ballot… Decisions… decisions… you guys dont make it ez.

Both sets of answers were a brilliant read – reaffirms my belief that the fewer the words the more you can say…
It was a tough choice but this point won it for me:
“Don’t write to attract an audience. Write as you’re already having the conversation with them”

    >Daniel, Love the series – and how perfect and closely matched was this Face-Off! It’s like blogging into a mirror:-)
    >Liz, great stuff. No coincidences on the similarities!
    >Andy, I’d be honored with a split! You know who I voted for (in one word!)
    >Daniel, tie goes to the best dancer? Oh…different show.
    >GP, a bloggosiuer’s delight, this match, hmm?
    >Hi Joanna! Great point about being concise. We have great conversations – I’m thankful for the engagement
