On BTR: TheGoodBlogs – Connectivity and Community

During this morning’s workshop on BlogTalkRadio, we discuss how TheGoodBlogs is a way to improve connectivity and community in your conversphere.

One of the powerful features of blogging is the connections we make with our customers and our peers. New relationships – friendships, really – are forged with brilliant thinkers and generous givers. TheGoodBlogs is a tool that increases the opportunity to make those connections.

TheGoodBlogs widget (on the right sidebar) generates traffic, both incoming and outgoing. In other words, readers are finding the widget valuable and clicking elsewhere. Connections are made.

But they aren’t just random headlines. I’ve been able to create my own community, a potpourri of blogs I believe provides value to our readers. I’ve also included headlines from Cord Silverstein’s Marketing News community. These two communities appear at the top of the headlines.

BREAKING NEWS: I’ve learned that a new feature is coming to TheGoodBlogs – Conversations. This feature is almost a combination of tags meet trackbacks – with a twist.

Find Your Social Media ROI

I hear it from a lot of business owners: “Where is the ROI with all this Social Media?“ If this is a question you ask yourself, maybe we should work together a bit more. We can work together solo, or via a professional learning community. Find and increase your ROI. There is a “there” there.
