Thanks for Extending the ConverStations Outward

Thanks_1

Among the real powerful benefits of blogging is how conversations connect us together, yet stretch us farther.

I’d like to thank those that took time to elaborate, instigate, debate and extend some of the ConverStations outward in the month of November:

Also: The Amateur Gourmet; Viaspire; Aaron Gerdes; Kent Blumberg; Essential Keystrokes; The Write Path; Jaduka; Business Blog Wire; Tell Ten Friends; Motivation on the Run (podcast too!); Blogging for Business; Black in Business; Customer Experience Crossroads; Successful Blog; Rush on Business; My Name is Kate; Marketing Nirvana; Business Blogs Now; Ask Dr. Kirk; Drew’s Marketing Minute; An Entrepreneur’s Journey; Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Blogosphere; Communication Overtones; The Dude’s Blog; Flooring the Consumer; Carpe Factum; Blawg-IT; Shards of Conciousness; 7CM Marketing; Noah’s Ark Animal Foundation; CCU CEO; Stories by REL; Merchant Circle; Make it Great!; Little Choo Choo Shop; Life in Medical School; SharedNeedles; and to my friend who spoke the truth without a link or mention of my name – you are a blessing (as are all on this post)

The Signal: Why do I do this kind of post? Is it just to earn more links next month? Yes Nope. If you read here often, you know I preach a 15-20 minute posting time. This took me almost two hours. If it took eight hours – I’d still do it.

Links are not only currency to the author – they are currency to web surfing reader. Extend the conversation outward.

Last Month October Thanks

Find Your Social Media ROI

I hear it from a lot of business owners: “Where is the ROI with all this Social Media?“ If this is a question you ask yourself, maybe we should work together a bit more. We can work together solo, or via a professional learning community. Find and increase your ROI. There is a “there” there.

    Hi Mike,
Thanks ever so much for the links. Now I know that you know why I’ve not been spending as much time conversing lately. The new site needs some work, but it’s gonna be worth every minute.
I applaud your outward extension; links are, indeed, currency to all of us.

“One of my goals is to always be the dumbest guy in the room. I easily qualify as dumbest on this list (but they make me smarter)”
    HEY! That’s MY goal!
Thanks for the mention Mike, and thanks for the great list of blogs to check out!

Mike – What a terrific group of bloggers and an excellent resource for some good reading. I love finding great information that I may have missed.
Most of these folks are already in my reader, but I just discovered a few new (to me) neighbors. Thanks.

Thanks Mike for including me in the conversation. I was telling Liz Strauss this morning that you were the one to get me started on blogging and thus allow me to meet a whole new group of friends. You have an unique talent in coaching others. You convinced me that I too could start a blog and you even made me feel smart during the learning process!

Mike – you extend the conversation far and wide, and the fact you take 2 hours of your time to put this together is AMAZING! Thanks for all the great links.

    >Carolyn, your site is looking grand. Look forward to its growth.
    >Mack:-) We’ll need to share the goal – and as usual, you lead and I’ll follow:-)
    >Tony, thanks – that kind comment spurs me on to do better.
    >Delaney, wow! As an educator and coach yourself, you know the student makes the teacher look better. Thanks for being great in both roles.
    >Thanks Phil – Amazing that I did it or amazing I found two hours?;-) I’m just trying to Make it Great!

Very Well done Mr. Conductor – you talk the talk AND walk the walk. Thanks for being such an inspiration to us all (and that’s one mighty fine link list!). Hope to see you at Panera again real soon. All the best!

    Thanks for the link Mike!
Love the “buzz-hungry” description! So apt!

    >Terry, until we meet again, let these be the connective tissue holding us close.
    >Sean, thanks for providing such great fodder for such terms. Love the ‘Hammer!

Forgive me for being behind…I have just discovered I can set up an “ego feed,” and I’ve found two reasons in the last two days that I should. I’m just now finding your post with my link, so I wanted to say thanks!
