I Am a Blessed Blogger

I often hear business people refer to bloggers in tones such as "…those blessed bloggers" – and I wonder if we’re experiencing the same thing.

This morning, eight Iowa bloggers joined me in welcoming Starbucker at Iowa Blogging Central (aka Panera U). Drew, Sandy, Tim, Mike, Tom, Mitch, Doug and newcomer Brooke all joined in the conversation. I am a blessed blogger.

The afternoon was spent at the Yblawg conference with Iowa attorneys Brett Trout and Rush Nigut sharing blawging knowledge with peers, colleagues and students. I am a blessed blogger.

This evening, in honor of Starbucker, I visited a Starbucks and met the General Manager. I let her know of a great comment I recently read by a customer. She wanted to know what was said. I shared Cory’s blog post with her. I am a blessed blogger.

I get to research, read, and link to some of the most genuine, passionate and authentic people on the globe in business and in Iowa.

I am a blessed blogger.

Find Your Social Media ROI

I hear it from a lot of business owners: “Where is the ROI with all this Social Media?“ If this is a question you ask yourself, maybe we should work together a bit more. We can work together solo, or via a professional learning community. Find and increase your ROI. There is a “there” there.

Mike, keep up the good work! Want to let you know that the Hitchhiker Team came by this week to write about you.
Clearly,we have to go to the drawing board and develop a button to keep up with the “jones” but in the mean time you can read about it here:

Thanks for hosting, Mike. The energy in the room this morning was electric. The connecitivty was buzzing!!! And yes, we are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO overdue for a 1-on-1 discussion (my bad for allowing my “day job that pays the bills” to interfere).

Since I am a professional writer, I truly feel like a blessed blogger! Blogging is easy, enjoyable and a wonderful way to support my clients and keep touch with what is going on at their business. I try to visit client blogs and post on a fairly regular basis. Enjoyable for me and helpful to them. I’m a blessed blogger! Thank you for starting this thread!
