Is YouTube a Marketing Tool?

My dad used to be in the real estate business. He was a listing maniac. If YouTube were around back then, he’d have jumped at the chance to showcase his listings.

Speaking of listing agents, the folks at Ubertor Real Estate Blog shows how one agent uses YouTube to talk with his clients and prospects.

So, why aren’t more real estate agents using YouTube like this?

Nice touch by Carl Cimini. Now all he needs to do is put those listings on a blog. I wonder if he knows the team at Aldo Coffee – maybe they can show him how.

Is that tune in the background "Twilight Time?"

I think, yes, YouTube, is definitely a marketing tool. An inexpensive one at that. I always consider it as one of those breakthrough innovations.

Thanks for your comment Meikah. I’m really surprised more companies – especially solopreneurs – aren’t using it more often.

Hey guys thanks for the props. I do RE part time. That home (121 elizabeth)was unattractive on the outside. Most folks won’t travel to the neighborhood to see. The interior was great. You tube and craigslist got over 200 walkthrus in a week. My full time job is media. But any RE agent with half a brain could put that together in 1 6hr day. Finding a RE agent with half a brain is the problem. JUST KIDDING. As far a blogging and other areas, one must make sure one gets something done in ones field of expertise. To hire a blogger to sprend your propaganda is the best. RE agents and most folks just don’t have the time to do it themselves. Blogging is powerful homespun PR. In the right hands it can really do great. IMHO, all marketing will be invisable. Was this reply an advertisement or was it just simple post. I guess it is all propaganda! Or is it? Were the misspellings intentional or not? This will be the next paridigm shift in marketing. It will be invisible to the naked eye. Exciting times indeed. Unless you’re a literialists, then my friend your boat is sunk. :)
