Two days left. If you haven’t visited the Iowa State Fair this year, this weekend is the last.
A couple of busy days put me behind, so we’ll list just the Blue Ribbons in several categories (see below next post). Some have asked why I’m doing this Blue Ribbon series. I started with three reasons, another appeared later.
- Share new sites. Much like the motives behind BlogTipping Day, it was an opportunity to share sites that some of you may not normally see.
- Emulate the good. Find new practices by visiting some of these sites. Tweak it to fit your voice, audience and purpose.
- Building a BlogRoll. I’ve been wanting to build out my blogroll on a separate page for awhile. This weekend is the beginning of that – and I was cleaning out my aggregator.
- Busy Week. I’ll remember this lesson. This was a crazy week – I knew that much going in. What I didn’t realize was how having this series would help me maintaining a rhythm of posting.

Find Your Social Media ROI
I hear it from a lot of business owners: “Where is the ROI with all this Social Media?“ If this is a question you ask yourself, maybe we should work together a bit more. We can work together solo, or via a professional learning community. Find and increase your ROI. There is a “there” there.
