Lots of stops on this train ride, but every one a gem:

You know that I a firm believer in comments. I think that they personalize what would otherwise be a monologue. I have had weeks where I wished they were turned off and others when I wouldn’t give them up for the world.
I’ve learned so much by listening and joining in at other sites.

Good point, Kami. Comments actually hone some of the noise into a signal. Reading comments can be an essential part of the listening and learning process. Participating in the conversation allows us to grow.
Thanks for being a great example in not only taking and making comments – but the art of tracking your comments.

Thanks Mike – and I’ve had your blog on my blogroll for some time now too!
The class has been a huge success. People who thought they couldn’t sketch and were worried about sketching in public are now carrying their sketchbooks with them everywhere they go! It wasn’t about teaching people to draw so much as giving people the confidence to believe they could do it and showing them some simple ways of making life easier for themselves. Not so very different from creating achievements in many areas apart from art.
In the meantime, we’re on a roll – you must come and join us!
