The folks I work with have memorized A Blog Posting Mantra. They don’t always use it, but they have it memorized (ahem).
For me, #4 is the most important part. It’s not an accident that it’s center mass. Today, I was asked if that’s all there is to it. The long answer is "nope," but I’m not writing a book (yet).
So I thought I’d throw the question out to you. When you’re blogging, what’s the mantra in your bloggin’ noggin’? (Hoping to be a Pick of the Orchard doesn’t count – though it’s a nice dream)
I’ll be out of town tomorrow, visiting with Steve Farber and Zane Safrit at an ABI event. Are you willing to be a stand-in blogging coach for a day?
- Post
onyour Blog Posting Mantra on your own blog. - Link back to either this post or the ConverStations Blog Posting Mantra.
- First 10 mantras get a copy of Steve’s book, The Radical Edge (Disclosure:Steve doesn’t know I’m doing this) Here’s my review of both of Steve’s books. That’s why.
- Your post/link should be dated 6/14/06 – I’m still in town today.
- If your post gets listed in Pick of the Orchard, I’ll change my title from Conversation Conductor to Conversation Caboose for the rest of June.
So, What’s Your Blog Mantra, Coach?

I hear it from a lot of business owners: “Where is the ROI with all this Social Media?“ If this is a question you ask yourself, maybe we should work together a bit more. We can work together solo, or via a professional learning community. Find and increase your ROI. There is a “there” there.
