Testing Zoundry

Shaun Orpen gives an in-depth look at GreatNews vs. SharpReader, the end result being ditching SharpReader.<

Two things that caught my eye after looking more closely at GreatNews:

  1. Synch-ability with my Bloglines. I didn’t know this was possible, until I read Shaun’s post. Are you using Bloglines only because you use two computers? Now, you can still use GreatNews at home, Bloglines at work – just synch ‘em up.
  2. The Blog This feature allows you to use Zoundry as a quick blog writer/editor. Before I ditch SharpReader, I’ll want to make sure this works.

One thing I like about Zoundry real quick: I can compose posts offline.

Dan Masters at idano.net recently shared his thoughts on Zoundry

We’ll see how this goes. More to come on Zoundry and GreatNews, possibly less on SharpReader.

UPDATE: The font size got a bit messy with Zoundry, but that may be like blaming my 5-iron for the slice. I’ve learned that my 5-iron can only be blamed for the divots.

Find Your Social Media ROI

I hear it from a lot of business owners: “Where is the ROI with all this Social Media?“ If this is a question you ask yourself, maybe we should work together a bit more. We can work together solo, or via a professional learning community. Find and increase your ROI. There is a “there” there.

Interesting suggestion Mike. I’ll look for you to test this tool a bit more before I switch, but it looks quite promising. Thanks for sharing it!

    Test post from Zoundy

Courtesy of Mike Sansone over at Converstations, I am trying out Zoundry for this blog post. So far, it seems very easy to use. I normally use Performancing for Firefox, also a FREE tool to create blog entries. It does have built in tagging for del.ici…

    Thanks for the link, Mike.
I use WordPress’ online editor for all my posts, although I’ve been looking for a good offline editor for a while now so I’ll be trying out Zoundry now…
    All the best,
    Shaun

Hey Phil and Shaun. I realized that setting up Zoundry wasn’t such a snap without the instructions. I’ve posted what I found above.
Have fun – I’ll look forward to your thoughts on the tool(s).
