If You Ever Plan to Motor West…

Early thoughts from our first day of a long weekend…

We used to fly a lot, but haven’t in a couple years…I can’t stand the self-service ticket stuff. Not that I don’t understand it, but the imposters wearing Northwest Airlines uniforms should go hang out somewhere else or charge me more and help. When I asked for help with a few things (checking in bags, making sure my dog was okay in the cabin, directions to the gate), they looked at me like I was bothering them. Northwest Airlines just lost a customer! NWA = Never Will Again.

On the other end of the service spectrum, Enterprise keeps on impressing. Walked right up to the counter, care at the ready, bottled water (cold) delivered with the keys. Now if Enterprise could fly us home

San Jose Int’l Airport is still ancient. They’ve been remodeling it since forever ago, but the old terminal is still …old.

I must be getting old. We’ve been here less than a day and I’m ready to go back home. Of course, having grown up in Monterey and living in San Jose for several years, I see things from a nostalgic view rather than a tourist view. Speaking of views, I do miss the landscape put here.  Stunning beauty.

Next time we drive (thanks for that reminder Northwest).

Find Your Social Media ROI

I hear it from a lot of business owners: “Where is the ROI with all this Social Media?“ If this is a question you ask yourself, maybe we should work together a bit more. We can work together solo, or via a professional learning community. Find and increase your ROI. There is a “there” there.

    Not So Helpful CSR’s

It’s amazing to me how customer service reps act when you ask them a question or, God forbid, need help with the product that they sold to you. I’m reminded of a time I went in to Michael’s to purchase…
