The 1st day of the month is BlogTipping Day:
Blog – ::HorsePigCow::
Author – Tara Hunt (aka MissRogue)
I’m glad Tara blogs because I always find:
– Passion Speak
– People First
– Pinko Marketing
Tara gets community. She’s part of it. She’s customer and customer-service at the same time. Her enthusiasm and zeal are contagious. How does her blogging read? At times it’s fun, at other times thought-provoking, it can be smart-alicey, but also dead-on serious.
TIP: Stay thine own self stay true. Towards your audience, simply stay contagious.
Blog: Tom Peters!
Authors: Tom, Cathy, Eric, Val, Madeleine, et al
I’m glad this team blogs because:
– They share knowledge freely
– They introduce me to great people via Cool Friends
– If Tom suggests a book, I don’t think – I just go get it. I’ve never been let down.
Tom’s blog was one of the first feeds in my feed aggregator.
TIP: Offer Bios of each author. Who is et al? There are some Bios, but I haven’t found one for each other author.
Blog: Porthole on the Infobahn
Author: B. Scott Burkett
I’m glad Scott blogs because:
– He writes a lot about Atlanta. That’s where his business is located. A lesson for every business blog here – write about business goings on in your neck of the woods.
– Love the signature at the end of each post – nice touch.
– Generous use of Guest Bloggers.
TIP: Though the font for post titles is unique, I’m glad I read these in my feed aggregator. When I go to the site, I find myself squinting and leaning in close:-)
Hat Tip to Easton Ellsworth, the contagion that started BlogTipping.

Find Your Social Media ROI
I hear it from a lot of business owners: “Where is the ROI with all this Social Media?“ If this is a question you ask yourself, maybe we should work together a bit more. We can work together solo, or via a professional learning community. Find and increase your ROI. There is a “there” there.
