As we prepare for our Get Started Blogging workshop on Tuesday, will visit some posts on the how-to of business blogging. If you haven’t registered yet, only a handful of seats remain.
Some of these are older, some are new. All are good instruction, here are just a few:
- Requirements for a Great Corporate Blogger by Jeremiah Owyang at Web Strategy by Jeremiah (feed): Pay close attention to the list of reasons NOT to have a corporate blog. (P.S. Nice Redesign)
- What Should Be Your Corporate Blog’s URL? by Stephan Spencer at Scatterings (feed): Do you agree with the hypothetical example Stephan shares?. Two key abilities in business blogging are find-ability and link-ability.
- Much Ado About Blogging by Heather D. at Viaspire (feed): Heather finds three fears that companies have are Trust, Control, and Commitment. I’ll add a fourth – Time. Frankly, each is a crutch. If conversing with customers is important, a company will make it happen – either offline or online, sometimes both.
- Corporate Blogging for Quality Relationships from DailyIndia.com: " "The blog is a mainstream phenomenon, not a fad."
- Secrets of Corporate Blogging from BrookGroup: I’m not sure any of this is a "secret," but good info nonetheless.
