As I’m reloading my feed aggregator with blogs, I’m thinking about this question:
If I was stranded on a deserted island (with limited Wi-Fi of course), which five blogs would I want to have with me?
- David Lorenzo’s Career Intensity (to maintain a level of excellence & intensity).
- Rajesh Setty’s Life Beyond Code (to distinguish myself)
- Phil Gerbyshak’s Make it Great! (to be great)
- Kathy Sierra’s Creating Passionate Users (to be inspired)
- Manir Umrani’s The Blogging Journalist (to keep up with all the "blogging" news)
It would be tough to leave off MAKE, I might need it to escape the island. Tough to choose only five.

I hear it from a lot of business owners: “Where is the ROI with all this Social Media?“ If this is a question you ask yourself, maybe we should work together a bit more. We can work together solo, or via a professional learning community. Find and increase your ROI. There is a “there” there.
